Upgrading to Net Zero

A Net Zero home produces as much energy as it consumes over the course of a year. Here's what that means in practice.

Solar PV Array

1. Custom Solar Generation

The foundation of a Net Zero upgrade is adding a properly sized Photovoltaic (PV) system. Since a passive home's baseline energy draw is exceptionally low, a much smaller, more affordable rooftop solar array is needed to offset 100% of your annual usage.

All-Electric Systems

2. Electrification Upgrades

Fossil fuels are entirely eliminated from the home. Upgrading to an induction cooktop and a hybrid heat pump water heater slashes remaining energy requirements.
